Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine encompasses many different techniques to bring the body back into balance. This includes acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, cupping, moxabustion, auricular acupuncture and laser with ear seeds, nutritional information and suggested changes, lifestyle changes and maybe even a scan with the acugraph. Once an initial assessment is taken one or more of these techniques will be used on each and every visit. It may not always be the same, but the appointments will always be effective.

Laser Acupuncture
Laser acupuncture uses low power laser light to stimulate acupuncture points. It brings about effects similar to traditional needle acupuncture, but without the needle sensations. It is a quick, safe and painless alternative to needles. It’s perfect for children, people with needle fear and post surgical patients.

Holistic Nutrition is the practice of using food as medicine, focusing on high quality whole, unrefined foods. Locally grown and seasonal foods are always emphasized.  An individual’s genetics, health history, symptoms, emotions, preferences and goals will all be considered when tailoring a diet specific to their needs. Holistic Nutrition aims to connect the mind, body and spirit by addressing how emotions and stress present themselves in specific areas of the body as pain, inflammation, or disease. While whole foods are the focus, herbs, mushrooms, vitamins/minerals, amino acids and other supplements may also be recommended.
