About Anthony

Hi, I’m Anthony, a Registered Acupuncturist, and I’ve been in a similar situation to many of you – multiple worsening symptoms, chronic pain and inflammation, unable to fully enjoy life and loved ones.

In my mid twenties I suffered a serious gut dysbiosis from the prolonged over-prescription of antibiotics for a stubborn throat infection. Various symptoms developed and worsened over the next few years causing my health to gradually deteriorate. Conventional medicine offered no solution other than steroids and pharmaceuticals, each with a list of nasty side effects longer than the last. I turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Through a combination of Acupuncture, herbs and simple dietary changes, years of misery and failing health were resolved in a couple of months. I knew then that I would study this life altering medicine so that I might offer the same relief and wellbeing to others.

Motivated by those past health challenges I have a special interest in treating the chronic conditions that so many of us seem to be suffering to varying degrees – stress and burnout, anxiety and depression, weight gain, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, inflammation, insomnia, allergies, poor cognition and brain fog, IBS, food sensitivities and digestive complaints, reproductive, hormonal and fertility issues, immune and autoimmune disorders, blood pressure and blood sugar imbalances… the list goes on. Having recovered from a number of these issues myself has imbued me with hard won insight that informs my practice on a daily basis.

Accurate diagnosis is essential to successful treatment. The key to that diagnosis is sometimes buried in the past and seemingly unrelated, so we will spend time getting to the root cause of the problem, this will enable us to establish a treatment plan specific to you that is as gentle, simple and effective as possible.
